The New England Historical Association (NEHA), a regional affiliate of the AHA, offers an annual book award for the best book on any historical topic, time or place by a New England author published in the preceding year. Each publisher may nominate one 1999 book for the competition by June 1, 2000. The award (a certificate and $200 stipend) will be presented to the winner at the October 21, 2000 NEHA conference at Stonehill College.
